1. Go to DM Whacker (a site by blogger DCortesi)
2. There are instructions on that page about how to use their tool. You can choose to follow those instructions on the ones you’re reading now.
3. Stay above the fold and locate the DM Whacker link, it’s right next to the word “Bookmarklet”
4. Drag that link all the way to your bookmarks tab so that it becomes a bookmark on your browser.
5. Now go to Twitter and log into your account
6. Go to your Twitter Direct Messages by clicking on the corresponding button.
7. Once you are in your inbox, click on the bookmark DM Whacker. The DM Deleter should then appear on your right hand side menu near the top.
8. Select the DM’s to delete as well as selecting whether to delete inbox and sent items.
9. Click on Delete
10. That’s it. Don’t close your browser until it has done its job.
