Saying "Is Twitter good for Children" is like saying "Is Facebook good for Children" or actually "is INTERNET good for Children".
Instead of focusing on Twitter people should talk about whether it's good for kids to go online and have profiles on social networking websites or not.
To be honest, if i had kids i don't know if i'd let them go on Twitter and Facebook. There's a lot they don't know about the internet and how dangerous it can be sometimes. Specially when it comes to social networking websites.
On these kind of websites you meet people, you talk to them and sometimes even find really good friends, but on the other hand you'll also find people that ask everything about you and are just about to track your IP address, etc. With kids this will be WAY easier and kids will just hand in the info these kind of people are looking for.
Whether it's Twitter or not, it's much more about the internet in general (to me).

There are celebrity children on Twitter, officially stopping all children using it would mean stopping those also, but it seems Twitter is happy to have them there, validating their accounts.
